Dr. Cathy Taylor Is a Caring & Compassionate Dentist
Dr. Cathy Taylor is a native of sunny Sarasota, FL. She developed a passion for dentistry early on, deciding on this career path at age 9. She completed her undergraduate studies in nutritional science at the University of Florida, where she was also a cheerleader alongside her twin sister, Becky. Dr. Taylor then earned her DMD at the UF College of Dentistry.
To further enhance her skills, Dr. Taylor participated in an advanced education in general dentistry program based in Apopka. This experience solidified her desire to establish roots in Gainesville and serve the local community.
Dr. Taylor’s personal and professional lives are intertwined. She is happily married to her husband, Andrew, whom she met while studying at UF. Andrew is a certified public accountant and assists Dr. Taylor in managing the dental practice while also running his own accounting business. Together, they are proud parents of two wonderful daughters, Carlee and Ellie. Additionally, they are fortunate to have extended family members residing nearby.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Taylor and her family lead an active lifestyle. They enjoy spending time at the gym and embarking on adventures in her Jeep Wrangler.

I’ve never know her to get ruffled or distracted. Her speech is always metered and soothing, her communication free of jargon, adapted to your knowledge level, and you can tell she is listening. There is a joy and good humor about her. I was one of her first patients, and I have to say these same qualities have been with her the whole way. Professional, respectful, knowledgeable, experienced, skillful, focused, and kind. I would recommend her to anyone.

Great Experience. Dr Taylor took a lot of time to discuss a plan for me. I had my teeth cleaned and that was a breeze. Their office staff was friendly and helpful . The office was very clean and the equipment they used was excellent. I highly recommend Dr Taylor .My last visit was this past week for just my regular scheduled teeth cleaning . That procedure was better than any I’ve had over the years. Thier office is very high tech and the Hygenist was very informative. I had no pain and she was extremely knowledgeable . There really is a difference for who you use. Dr Taylor is kind , funny and every thing you would want in a Dentist. Your teeth are a very important detail in your quality of life.
